What are Agents?

Agents are automated workflows that run tasks based on triggers you define. They can monitor markets, send notifications, execute analyses, and more – all without manual intervention.

Key Concepts

Triggers

Events that start your workflow (schedule, webhook, price alert)

Nodes

Individual steps in your workflow (AI analysis, email, wait)

Connections

Links between nodes that define the flow

Variables

Dynamic values like {{AI Output}} passed between nodes

Creating an Agent

  1. Go to the Agents tab
  2. Click “New Agent”
  3. Give it a name and description
  4. Build your workflow on the Canvas
  5. Click “Activate” in the Options dropdown to start running the agent

The Canvas

The Canvas is where you visually build your workflow:
  • Add Nodes – Click the “+” button to open the command menu and insert steps
  • Connect – Draw lines between nodes to define the order of operations
  • Configure – Click any node to set its details, inputs, and outputs

AI Builder

Use the AI Builder side panel to create workflows with natural language:
  1. Click the chat-bubble button in the Agent header (left of the “Options” dropdown).
  2. Describe what you want: “Send me an email every morning with a market summary”
  3. The AI generates the workflow
  4. Click “Add to Canvas” to apply
Prefer the keyboard? Open the command menu (the “+” button or the shortcut you set), type your request in the search bar, and select the “AI Builder” suggestion that appears under the AI group.
The AI Builder can also modify existing workflows – just describe the changes you want.

Testing Agents

Before activating your agent, test it to make sure everything works as expected:
  1. Open the Options dropdown in the Agent header
  2. Click “Test Agent”
  3. Watch the test panel as it runs through each node in your workflow
  4. Review the outputs and timeline to verify each step completed successfully
Testing helps you catch errors and verify node configurations before the agent runs automatically.

Node Types

Billing

Agent runs are billed based on actual usage:
  • Base Fee – 1¢ per run
  • AI Steps – Actual AI cost (varies by model)
  • Total – Sum of all steps in the workflow
AI costs are passed through with no markup. Costs accumulate across all nodes in a workflow, so a complex agent with multiple AI steps will cost more.
