Overview
The Portfolio tab is a dedicated workspace for your holdings. Scroll through every position, open a detail sheet for deeper metrics, add new stocks via the floating search bar, or import a full statement by handing an image to the AI importer.
Holdings List
Each holding is shown as a card with:
- Symbol & Shares – e.g.
NVDA • 12 shares
- Price per share – Pulled live when the card renders
- Market value – Shares × price, displayed in monospace so numbers line up
- Today’s move – A green/red badge with the intraday % change
Click a card to slide in the Position Details sheet. It highlights market value, average cost, price, absolute PnL, total return %, and any notes you saved.
Adding Positions
The input bar at the bottom is where you add stocks. Type a ticker (try AAPL), pick the suggestion, and the Position Size window appears:
- Quick add – Enter the number of shares and tap “Add to Portfolio”.
- Advanced – Fill shares, cost, and purchase date, then add a note if you like.
- StockRadar also shows today’s price and move so you know what you’re buying.
Adding something you already own? StockRadar lets you add those shares to the existing holding or skip it.
Notes & Deletions
Notes live directly on the holding. Add them inside the Position Size modal or edit them later by reopening the position. When a holding is no longer needed, open its detail sheet, click Delete Holding, and confirm the action.
Import via AI
Tap the round button in the bottom-right corner to let the AI do the data entry for you:
- Drop in a screenshot of your broker statement (PNG/JPG/WEBP, up to 8 MB).
- StockRadar reads the image and fills in the symbols, share counts, and prices.
- Skim through the list, tweak anything that looks off, and press Add.
- Already own one of the symbols? Just tell the importer whether to add those shares to the existing position or skip them.
Manual entries are unlimited for everyone. Only AI imports count toward a quota (Free: 5 imports per month, Plus: Unlimited).
Tips
After updating your holdings, hop into the Chat tab and ask “What moved the most in my portfolio today?” for an instant summary.
